CLASS STYLES

All classes are 60 minutes unless otherwise noted. Registration is required for all classes.  *Registrations for the early morning classes must be made by 8:00pm the previous night. 

Please bring a yoga mat, water bottle and sweat towel (optional). 

FIRE

A Heated Vinyasa Flow with Intense Core-Focused Training

This is Morning Sun Yoga's sweatiest class! Fire takes our Power class and adds external heat and ignites your internal fire through extensive core exercises.

Be prepared to work hard, but modifications will be offered to accommodate all levels. Room will be heated to a toasty 85-90 degrees.

POWER

A Vigorous Vinyasa Flow

This vinyasa flow focuses on connecting breath and movement as the body gains strength, stamina, flexibility and balance, and the mind gains confidence, clarity and peace.

All levels are welcome. Room will be a comfy 70-75 degrees.

SLOW FLOW

A Mindful, Slower-Paced Vinyasa Flow

Explore yoga postures while cultivating strength, flexibility, balance, and calm. Yoga poses are linked to breath to help reveal body awareness, inner strength and easeful opening. 

All levels are welcome. Room will be a comfy 70-75 degrees.

 

BLEND

A 75 Minute Combination of Fire, Power and Slow Flow.

 

A vigorous flow will warm the body and get you ready for core work, with plenty of time for deep stretches and a long savasana. Room will be slightly heated to 80 degrees.

YIN

Reset your mind, body, and spirit in this yin inspired class.

 

Our practice will begin with breath work and meditation to slow down the mind. We will then let go of tension in our bodies with deep stretches that release fascia and improve joint mobility. Poses will be held for 2-5 minutes and modifications will be given for all bodies. Class will come full circle with a restorative pose and savasana that invite deep relaxation and restore the spirit. If you have yoga props, such as bolsters, straps and blocks, please bring them with, but they are not necessary.

CORE

A workout targeting your core muscles

A variety of exercises and equipment will be used to help strengthen your abs, back, shoulders, and glutes. This class is an awesome compliment to your regular yoga practice.  

HIIT

Yoga + High Intensity Interval Training

This hour-long workout starts with a yoga warm-up, then we will incorporate weights and resistance bands into high intensity interval training. You'll get a complete full-body workout while keeping your heart rate elevated for maximum calorie burn! We'll finish up with a quick yoga portion to get you all stretched out and de-stressed!

SCULPT

Yoga + Weights

Combining weights to yoga poses, Sculpt focuses on building strength, while maintaining the foundation of flexibility and balance.
